After a six-year hiatus, DanceFest returns to the stage.
For more than three decades, DanceFest has been a beloved gathering of the Hudson Valley dance community. Each year, the Youth Company of The Vanaver Caravan invites regional dance schools and academies to come together on one shared stage, not to compete, but to celebrate one another.
The vision of DanceFest is simple and powerful: to inspire dancers and their surrounding communities to share and celebrate in a spirit of respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm. It is a space where artistry is honored, diversity is embraced, and dancers of all ages and styles are seen as part of a larger creative whole.
This year’s DanceFest marks the 30th performance of this treasured showcase. Nine dance studios from across the Hudson Valley will share an extraordinary evening of dance, offering audiences a rich tapestry of styles including world dance, ballet, modern, percussive forms, and more. Performers and audience members alike are invited into an atmosphere that values curiosity, generosity, and joy over comparison or competition.
Hosts of DanceFest, The Vanaver Caravan Youth Company, will perform an original work titled [INSERT INFO HERE].
