Important Information for Those Without Tickets

Other Ways to Watch the Show:
The 4:00 PM performances on Saturday and Sunday will be livestreamed. A link will be available right here approximately 10 minutes before each show.
Sold out means sold out: Rosendale is a small theatre and there is no standing room available. This is the first time we’ve sold out so quickly, and while we’re grateful for the excitement, we understand the disappointment this causes. We are doing our best to navigate this situation with care and fairness while adhering to venue capacity regulations.
What We’re Doing:
We’ve contacted ticket-holders, asking them to let us know as soon as possible if they cannot attend so we can release their seats.
Why Isn’t There a Waitlist?
With so many inquiries, we do not have the staff capacity to manage an equitable waitlist. Instead, any released tickets will be made available directly on the ticketing page. If you’re hoping to secure a seat, we encourage you to check the page frequently throughout the week for updates.
Ticket Refund Policy:
Tickets are nonrefundable. If you cannot attend, please email us at vcoffice@vanavercaravan.org so we can release your tickets to others.

**ABOUT INTO THE LIGHT:**

Into the Light first premiered in 2005, and has since become a beacon of holiday hope and cheer in the Hudson Valley. Conceived by Patrick Wadden, Livia Vanaver, Miranda Way (nee: ten Broeke) and Isabel Cottingham, the fairytale-like story of Into the Light follows a young girl as she struggles to find joy and hope in a winter with no sunlight.

As she grows up, Lucia leaves her sunny village and journeys into the cold, haunted forests of the winter star. In her darkest moment, she is helped by a kind old Bear, who guides Lucia around the world--to see how people, everywhere, keep the light of hope alive in the cold months of winter.

Into the Light wraps up all the magic of Arm of the Sea Theater's giant puppets into the celebratory vision of The Vanaver Caravan's world dance repertoire. The performance raises our spirits and awareness for cultural traditions, using the winter holiday season as common ground.
