we’ll move forward with the following classes:
BELTANE SCRIPT
& PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
This workshop is for students ages 10-18 interested in the behind-the-scenes magic of Beltane, from story to stage. Participants will collaborate on writing and developing original script material, explore directing and staging choices, and help shape how the story is brought to life in performance. This is a working workshop and requires a real commitment. Students should expect writing assignments, extra rehearsals, and additional meetings outside of regular class time.
This experience is best suited for young artists who are curious, collaborative, and excited to take responsibility for shaping a live performance.
SONGWRITING
WITH GABRIEL VANAVER
Ages 10+ | Prerequisite: Familiarity with an instrument or voice
This hands-on songwriting class is designed for students who already play an instrument or sing and are ready to begin crafting original songs. Students will learn the foundations of songwriting, including chord progressions, melody-building, song structure, and creative development. Students may write using any instrument they wish, including guitar, piano, voice, or another primary instrument. Writing instrumental pieces is welcome, and lyrics are optional. The focus of this class is cultivating each student’s musical voice, building confidence as a creator, and developing tools to turn musical ideas into complete works.
Toddle&Tune
A Parent–Toddler Dance & Music Class
Taught by Moo & Chelsea | Ages 1–3 (with a caregiver)
This joyful class invites parents and caregivers to dance, sing, and move alongside heir toddlers in a warm, welcoming space. Through creative movement, live song, and playful voice exploration, children are encouraged to move freely, respond to music, and discover rhythm, coordination, and expression, all while staying close to their grown-ups. This class blends simple dances, familiar and original songs, and imaginative movement prompts designed especially for early walkers and wiggly explorers. Parents actively participate, dancing with their toddlers, modeling movement, and sharing in the experience together. This class supports early motor development, musical curiosity, bonding, and confidence, while offering a gentle, joyful introduction to dance and music as shared play. No prior experience needed. Just come ready to move, sing, and have fun together.
Baby+Parent Mindful Movement
A Gentle Postpartum Stretch Class for Babies & Parents
Taught by Moo | Ages 0-1
This 30-minute class offers a soft, supportive space for parents and babies to move together. Designed with postpartum bodies in mind, each class incorporates gentle yoga-inspired movement, breath, and simple stretches that can be done with your baby. Alongside movement for parents, this class also intentionally supports baby development with tummy time, gentle baby massage, and age-appropriate movement and play woven into the flow. Babies are welcome to fuss, feed, nap, roll, crawl away, and play, while parents move at their own pace, listening to their bodies and honoring where they are in the postpartum journey. This class is about easing into movement, rebuilding strength and awareness, and sharing a moment of connection with your baby. No prior yoga or movement experience needed. All bodies, feeding needs, and moods are welcome.
