Fode Sissoko

Fode Sissoko (West African dance & drum) is an 8th generation Mandinka Griot from Senegal. A master on the Kora and Djembe, he is also a choreographer, has danced with the National Ballet of Senegal, and dances on stilts. Fode is the creator of Fakoli Dance and Drum, an organization devoted to promoting understanding through music, dance, drum and cultural exchange.
