Herman Sebek

HERMAN SEBEK is a renowned Broadway actor and Juilliard-trained dancer who originated the role of Pouncival in the original cast of Cats, later stepping into the role of Mr. Mistoffelees. His Broadway credits include Miss Saigon, Shogun, Song and Dance, and the international revival of West Side Story. He also appeared in the TV pilot of Fame and has received recognition such as the Carbonell Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of The Engineer in Miss Saigon. A gifted educator and director, Herman has choreographed regional productions and toured his original cabaret, My Private Broadway. He is a longtime friend and performer with The Vanaver Caravan and a beloved favorite teacher at SummerDance, where his warmth, humor, and artistic rigor continue to inspire.
