ABOUT DANCEFEST
The vision of DanceFest is to inspire all participating dancers and their surrounding communities to share and celebrate one another in an atmosphere of respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm.
For 33 years, DanceFest has been a staple of the Hudson Valley dance community. Each year, The Vanaver Caravan’s Youth Company dancers invite a selection of regional dance academies to perform alongside one another—each group showcasing their talent and choreography on stage in a noncompetitive and holistic atmosphere.
Performers and audience members alike experience an astonishing myriad of dance styles—such as world, percussive, ballet, modern, and more—in this treasured showcase of dance and self expression.
