“Doors Open” Holiday Gathering on Zoom
Get cozy, make some popcorn, and don your favorite holiday PJs for an evening of cheer! The Vanaver Caravan dancers and faculty will be gathering on Zoom as we count down to the premiere of Into the Light; A Tale of Hope. Join us for a short welcome of song, laughter, and question and answer as we get ready to watch the show's premiere together on Vimeo/Youtube.

ABOUT THIS YEAR’S PERFORMANCE:
Into the Light tells the story of a young girl named Lucia who journeys around the world to find light in the darkest time of the year. Featuring Arm-of-the-Sea Theatre's giant puppets with holiday songs, dances, and music traditions such as Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, Diwali, Yule, Advent, and Solstice.
This year, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to literally bring you around the world with us! Our students in India bring Diwali to life, while high school dancers from Brooklyn’s School for International Studies will share the principles of Kwanzaa, and more guest company members join in the festivities. Our local CaravanKids and Youth Company dancers are hard at work, re-choreographing many of the well-loved Into the Light scenes as social dis(DANCES). We can’t wait to share this new version of the show with our audiences.
The film will run just over 45 minutes and premieres on Youtube at 7PM on Sunday December 20th. Tune in to watch along with all the dancers and community members.
