SummerDance: Creative Immersion is a fully immersive outdoor dance program. Students will experience masterclasses with renowned faculty from all over the globe, as well as the chance to detox from technology, explore the Hudson Valley, and bond with an amazing community.
We are thrilled to offer SummerDance classes and workshops at the outdoor, open-air dance studios of Stone Mountain Farm.
SummerDance is limited enrollment with safe social distancing measures. At this time, only 14 spaces are available for each week of SummerDance.
Technology Meets Nature! Special, international guests will stream in at Stone Mountain on a large screen on the stage
Our amazing local faculty will teach and facilitate small groups in-person
Workshops run from 9am-3pm, Mon-Thursday, with a shortened day on Friday. Detailed schedules will be sent out to all registered students prior to the event
Classes are structure to help keep students at a 6 ft. distance and students are still asked to wear masks
Our students train with world renowned teachers in myriad dance forms--Modern, Ballet, Percussive, Step, Tap, Flamenco, Afro-Carribean Soca, Hip Hop, Swing Dance, Jazz Vernacular, Yoga, Choreography Challenges, Theater, Bollywood, and more.
