APPALACHIAN FUSION

Presented by Bardavon & The Poughkeepsie Public Library District’s NEA BIG READ

A lively mix of Appalachian music and dance with The Vanaver Caravan blended with images from the FDR Library collection, plus readings from Ron Rash’s Burning Bright  featuring Actor’s Studio veteran Maggie Low, stage, film and TV actor Michael Kingsbaker, plus Mount Academy student Gavin Maendel reading from Mary Knight’s Saving Wonder.

Copies of both featured books will be available for purchase at this event by Oblong Books & Music.
