UPDATE: COVID-19 & Dance Classes

Update: March 23rd

Hey everyone, to keep our community safe from the rapid spread of COVID-19, we are not holding dance classes at Mountain Laurel until further notice. We are, however, offering online classes through Zoom and fun tutorials and resources via our Good News Stream. Let’s stay connected and keep dancing through this trying time.

Update: March 11th

In response to the rapidly changing situation regarding COVID-19, we write to advise that we will NOT be holding dance classes until further notice. We will update all students, parents, and caregivers as the situation evolves. We appreciate your understanding and patience and we hope you all take good care of yourselves, your loved-ones, and your surrounding communities.

Class Hygiene and Health Precautions

If anyone in your household is feeling under-the-weather, ill, or, very importantly, has had a fever in the past 24 hours, stay home.  Please read and practice the CDC's general recommendations to help prevent the spread of virus, including: washing hands, covering coughs, using tissues, and maintaining space between one-another (our faculty will help with this as best they can).

When classes resume, please help us by making sure your children maintain proper hygiene (please have them wash their hands before coming to class), and talk to your children about the importance of maintaining space between each other; including no touching of the "T-zone" on their faces, and also not touching one another.

Mountain Laurel Waldorf School has "enhanced their hygiene protocols with additional cleaning services to ensure that surfaces, such as doors, door handles, faucets, desks, handrails, etc.. are disinfected very frequently.” Please help The Vanaver Caravan and Mountain Laurel maintain these hygiene practices so we can all stay healthy.

All health and keep dancing!

The Vanaver Caravan Faculty & Staff,

Jennifer, Miranda (Moo), Juliet, Bebhinn, Lisa, Timna, Livia, and Bill
